Fine Print NYC was contracted by MoMA/PS1 to print and install wallpaper for an artist exhibition. Selecting a material that would complement the installation’s lighting and the multiple TV screens used, especially for effective nighttime viewing, was crucial.

Initially inclined to source from a Tri-State area supplier, exceptional customer service swayed Fine Print NYC to exclusively adopt DreamScape substrates. Additionally, the DreamScape Large Sample Book has been instrumental in securing numerous contracts.

For this art installation, Canvas, Nolar, Mystical, and Plaster were initially recommended as sample options. After the evaluation of press proofs and sample installations, Nolar proved to be the superior choice. Digital printing ascends to art when constrained to CMYK; while many print, few are true craftsmen. Using the right materials, like DreamScape, is akin to artists choosing the perfect canvas to create a masterpiece.
