In a collaborative endeavor during 2021, Humble Independent School District in Houston, Texas, embarked on an innovative project to construct twin elementary schools, Autumn Creek and Lakeland, followed by a third, North Bend in 2023. These schools were designed using a pod system, where each learning environment was uniquely enhanced with captivating graphical wallcoverings.
Riot, in partnership with architectural firm PBK, selected DreamScape Suede for its outstanding qualities. The material’s superior seam integration, compatibility with low-VOC paints, and substantial durability made it the preferred choice for the project.
Over 20,000 square feet of DreamScape Suede were expertly installed across the three schools, transforming them into dynamic, immersive learning environments that encourage creativity and enjoyment among students.
