Artisan Colour partnered with The Maggiore Restaurant Group to create custom murals for The Italiano, an upscale dining destination in Scottsdale. Designed in collaboration with Wesley James of The Line Lab, the murals feature Renaissance-inspired artwork brought to life with projected digital enhancements, including flowing hair and blinking eyes. This seamless blend of print and motion turned the installation into a truly show-stopping centerpiece, transforming the restaurant into an immersive, multisensory experience unlike anything else in the space.
To bring this visionary concept to life, Artisan Colour selected DreamScape Bondi Sands for its ability to reproduce vibrant colors, intricate detail, and deliver durable performance in high-traffic areas. Its textured surface not only complemented the classical artwork but also provided the perfect backdrop for the layered digital projections, blending old-world elegance with cutting-edge technology in a sophisticated hospitality setting.
Dreamscape’s Tru-White base played a key role in optimizing color accuracy and consistency across large panels, ensuring every nuance from soft skin tones to rich background hues was faithfully rendered.
Bondi Sands subtle texture added just the right amount of surface depth without overpowering fine details. It supported high-resolution printing and strong ink adhesion, maintaining clarity across expansive murals under varied lighting conditions.
